Bihar VanMitra mobile app has been developed by the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Bihar to support Mission 2.51 crore Plantation Campaign under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan. The objective of this campaign is to involve the masses in Plantation programmes to increase awareness and sensitivity towards environmental protection. It will help in reaching out and empowering every citizen in the state in expanding green cover in Bihar by facilitating quick access to various services offered by the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

The Bihar VanMitra app provides user friendly interface to Individuals, Farmers, NGOs, Industries, PSUs, and Government Officials to register themselves and avail services such as requesting plants as per their own choices of quantity and species, selecting the nearest nursery for plant collection, and managing plantation site information etc.

This mobile app will also track the progress of activities at plantation site regularly under Mission 2.51 cr. Plantation Campaign in Bihar, using the data provided by the monitoring in-charge of the actual site of plantation with its location and photographs. The cumulative progress of the plantation will be monitored by the Officials of Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Bihar and other Dignitaries on a Reporting Dashboard within the mobile app.

In future this app will be expended with the more services, so as to have an effective department-citizen interface to avail all the services provided by the department.

Andhra Pradesh Pharmacy Council is a statutory body constituted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh u/s 19 of The Pharmacy Act of 1948 consisting of 6 members elected by Registered Pharmacists amongst themselves, five members nominated by Government of Andhra Pradesh, one member elected by APMedical Council and three Ex-Officio Members.

Presently Director General, Drugs Control of AP is i/c President of the Council. Registrar is on full time from 23 May 2013.

The main objective of the Andhra Pharmacy Council is to regulate the profession and Practice of pharmacy in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The prime function of the APPC is to grant registration to the eligible pharmacists possessing requisite qualification as per the provisions of section 32(2) of the Pharmacy Act and to enforce the necessary provisions of the Pharmacy Act 1948 and Andhra Pradesh Pharmacy Council Rules,1955.

Andhra Pradesh Pharmacy Council has got over 1,19,700 registered pharmacists practicing in the state. Their registration is renewed every 5 years. It is committed and devoted for the cause of upgrading and upbringing the standards of Pharmacy Practice resulting in better health facilities to the common man of the state.
