How to Register BSNL DND Service – Check BSNL DND Status

How to Register BSNL DND Service:- Customer of BSNL, who wish to avoid unwanted Calls and Messages may register for BSNL DND Service. The DND Process for BSNL subscribers is available below. After registration of NCPR, it will take 7 days to activate the service. So if you want to the DND status which is given here, you may check it by providing your mobile number.

BSNL DND Registration Process (Fully Blocked)

Type <START> 0 and send to 1909

Or

You may dial 1909 (Toll Free) from your BSNL mobile and follow the IVR guidance

How to Register for BSNL DND (Partially Blocked)

If you wish to register for DND Partially Blocked, simply follow below given steps.

Type <START> <preference number> and send to 1909

Example:

If you want to receive SMS on Banking then type <START> 1 and send to 1909.

If you want to receive SMS on Real Estate, Education and Health then type <START> 2, 3, 4 and send to 1909

List of category numbers:-

  1. For Banking, Insurance, Financial products and credit cards
  2. For Real Estate
  3. For Education
  4. For Health
  5. For Consumer goods and automobiles
  6. For Communication, Broadcasting, Entertainment and IT
  7. For Tourism and Leisure

BSNL DND de-registration Process

You may deregister from NCPR service only after three months from the date of registration.

To deregister via SMS (Toll Free) type <STOP> and send to 1909

Or

You may Call (Toll Free) 1909 from your BSNL mobile to deregister from NCPR.

Change BSNL DND Preference like you used to like to receive SMS and calls from Banking, but now you want to change your preference from Banking to Health. Ex:- you wish to stop receiving SMS and Calls from banking and want to receive from Health. In this case you simply follow below given steps.

Type <STOP> 1 and send to 1909

Type <START> 4 and send to 1909

Check BSNL DND Status:-

If you want to check the Status of DND, Search with Phone number that is registered for DNC.

DND process for Airtel subscribers – Airtel landline/Mobile – Check DND Status:- DND is now placed with NCPR. Airtel customers who wish to activate DND and willing to avoid unwanted Commercial SMS and Calls may stop unwanted commercial phone calls and SMS on your Airtel Mobile/Landline. To avoid unwanted telemarketing calls or SMS, please register your telephone number in airtel’s Do Not Disturb registry.

Airtel Landline DND Register

If you are an airtel landline customer and wish to register on our Do Not Disturb list, please visit at http://www.airtel.in/forme/dnd/dnd_landline

Airtel Mobile DND Register

Please open the link http://www.airtel.in/forme/dnd/dnd_mobile enter Airtel Mobile number that you wish to register on our Do Not Disturb registry. It may take up to 24 hours for your Registration Number to be sent.

DND Activation Process Step By Step:- Hello, you want to Activate Do not Disturb Service on your mobile ? simply follow below steps to activate NCPR (Formally DND) on your mobile phone. After activation of this service, you won’t be received any unwanted SMS and calls.

ACTIVATE DND SERVICE TO BLOCK FULLY

Type <START> 0 and send to 1909

Immediately you will receive Message as below mentioned;-

  • Your request to START has been received. Please reply Y to confirm your request or N to ignore your request within 2 hours

If you want to proceed, reply with Y otherwise reply with N.

You will be sent an SMS, soon after you replied with Y.

  • Your request has been registered. A unique reference number will be sent to you shortly. Thank you.

After few minutes, an SMS will be sent you like.

  • Dear Customer, your request for DND activation is registered and would be actioned by Date time (12/12/2013 8:12 PM) SR No. 1-6985485692 (registered number).

After some you will be received an other Message like as below given.

  • Dear Customer, your request for DND Activation on Mobile Number 9000000000 has been successfully processed through communication Id 1-6985485692. Your DND exclusion as per preference will be applicable in 7 days. Thank you.
